We often get asked by clients if we are affiliated with any other Melbourne based courier companies- we are here to tell you that we are totally and proudly independent!! We understand this is a rarity in the courier industry but rest assured when you deal with Swift you are dealing with an independent company. If you have any questions just ask our Directors!! :-)
Credit Card Facilities
May 2011 - Swift Transport Services have expanded our payment options - we now have credit card facilities, if you need to make a credit card payment we can now assist you over the phone.
New Uniforms
You may have noticed our drivers have new uniforms! We are ditching the boring fluro's for a new modern looking navy and white which compliments our company colours. All drivers still have fluro safety vests and other gear available for entering warehouses when needed. Thank you to Art & Style in Coburg for doing a fantastic job as always.
Customer Reference Books
We have great new reference books to keep track of your deliveries thanks to our client Minuteman Press Epping. If you would like one please let one of our staff know and we will send one straight over!
Owner Drivers
May 2011 - CALLING ALL TRAYS! 2011 is off to a flying start and we are expanding our fleet. We are currently looking for experienced subcontract owner drivers with suitable late model 1 Tonne Trays, 2 Tonne Trays, 3-4 Tonne Trays to service our busy customers. You must have excellent communication skills, be well presented and most of all be wonderful with our clients. Crane Trucks, Semi's & Hydraulic Tailgate Vehicles
We now have 6.5 metre and 7.5 metre trays 12 metre and 14 metre reach crane trucks as well as a 22 pallet semi available anytime including evenings and weekends.
April 2010 - We would like to welcome two new staff to the Swift customer service team. Shaun has joined the customer service/despatch group and can assist you with all job queries, POD requests and bookings. Isabella is now our accounts assistant and will be able to help you with any account queries as well as any booking needs. Both come from an extensive background in logistics/transport and we are very happy to have them on board!
*Friday 19th March 2010- 12pm - please note: our phone/fax/internet were down from 12pm - 5:30pm due to roadworkers cutting a fibreoptic cable in Dandenong South - this effected every Optus business in Dandenong. Although we had a diversion in place, not all calls could get through. Our sincere apologies if you could not get through on our landline or via Online Bookings. We are relieved to say that all lines are now working!
